“This one is my favorite.” I say… every. single. time. Justin builds something. I look back at all of his masterpieces and love them all, but he just keeps getting better. Guess what they say is true… Practice makes perfect. This trestle table, benches & beam light landed in Oklahoma. After meeting the family, I can only imagine the folks that will gather around this table to enjoy good food, conversation and a lot of laughter. These are the moments that turn into forever memories.
I have to agree with this quote… “There is something profoundly satisfying about sharing a meal. Eating together, breaking bread together, is one of the oldest and most fundamentally unifying of human experiences.” After a quick search this quote is credited to Barbara Coloroso, but if you look back further we have an even earlier example of this practice. Jesus often took time to slow down, break bread with his closest friends and just hang out. I’d say He is the ultimate example and we would benefit from following Him.
